Yehuda (Jim) Lev,
Certified in Reflexology, Energetic Bodywork, SCENAR and Biofeedback Therapy.
I began my medical experience as a medic in the military in 1965. However, after my military service and university graduation (Sociology and International Relations), I joined the Civil Service and worked for the government and society for over twenty seven years.
During these years I witnessed the tremendous everyday life pressures that, civilians, soldiers, and members of the Intelligence Community are under. I decided to use my experience to help people cope with stress, pain and other medicinal problems. Due to the fact that I was too old to start a full program towards becoming a Doctor of Medicine, I opted to study Alternative Medicine.

During my last years of civil service, I started studying various complementary medicine and veterinary courses. In 1991 I graduated from the ISRAELI COLLEGE OF NATURAL HEALTH SCIENCE as a Massage and Bodywork therapist focusing on the more common modalities such as Deep Tissue, Neuromuscular, Swedish massage, and REFLEXOLOGY. I continued these studies along with actual practice and, in 1995, completed my ADVANCED STUDIES in Reflexology, as well as engaged in what turned out to be my life's passion: ZEN-SHIATSU.

In 1996 I graduated as a CERTIFIED SHIATSU THERAPIST from the very same college and, while practicing in my private clinic in Jerusalem , continued my studies. In 1997 I successfully completed another Professional Course in Advanced Zen-Shiatsu at the TRAINING SCHOOL of HOLISTIC THERAPY in Tel-Aviv , Israel . At that time, I was also working with various Veterinarians applying massage techniques to pets. Like with human beings, it is a graceful and soul-rewarding occupation.

In 1999 I moved to the United States with my family (both human and canine). We settled in Chapel Hill , NC . In 1999 I joined AMTA as a Professional member and, in 2000 - the North Carolina Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.

In 2001 I underwent training and certification in Bio-Feedback, focusing on S.C.E.N.A.R Therapy.SCENAR stands for Self Controlled Energetic Neuro-Adaptive Regulator, and the use of this almost "magic " device has opened for me a window to yet another form of Energetic Therapy. Since my SCENAR adventure I became more and more involved in biofeedback and energetic therapy. Soon after the scenar I started using the HeartMath™ FreezeFramer™ technology, as well as the use of alpha wave stimulation in the treatment of pain, stress, anxiety, attention deficit disorder (ADD/ADHD). It is my firm belief that there should be no end to learning and expansion of one’s knowledge and ability to help other people in distress.

During my 20 + years of practice, I saw that bodywork, massage, biofeedback, Holistic Health Coaching, and nutrition approaches are complementary, and thus I started using Shiatsu along with Reflexology, and other bodywork techniques , as well as with Biofeedback, Nutrition consulting and Aromatherapy, as integrated modalities. It is my challenge as well as my passion to “tailor” the best “blend” of modalities for each individual. Often this choice proves to be most effective.
